Military Works

My military series examines the shifting mindsets, routines, and identities I navigated while transitioning out of active duty. Drawing on memory, artifact, and visual language from service life, I work across media to translate lived experience into formal inquiries—from visual puns that reframe military iconography to color‑theory studies that isolate the tones and weathering of a Korean War–era M37 Army truck. One piece in this group (Fields of Solace) marks an early, fully realized exploration of oil painting that signals the direction I’m moving toward.
